Bookshop Day Window Readathon 10/10
Celebrate Bookshop Day with us and join our FREE, epic six hour Readathon,
Saturday, October 10!
The Little Bookshop's first Window Readathon during Independent Bookshop Week was such a success that we're repeating this free, bookable event on Bookshop Day! We'll have a brand new bedtime-themed window to read in, which is in collaboration with Leeds-based bed poverty charity Zarach, so pyjama-wearing to your reading slot is very much encouraged! If you or a mini reader you know would like to spend a cheeky 20 minutes in our window reading, then read on...
HOW IT WORKS:
- Select and sign up to a 20 minute slot (for free!)
- Arrive on Saturday October 10th 5 minutes before your slot, with your book of choice
- Climb into the window with your book and enjoy a relaxing 20 minutes reading in a comfy armchair with (fingers crossed) the Saturday sunshine streaming through
Everyone who participates in our Readathon will then have 20% off any purchases made on the day as a thank you. We hope you'll help us celebrate Bookshop Day in true bookworm style, and help us inspire passerbys to pick up a book themselves and raise awareness about Zarach. This event is free to participate in. Please note that we welcome any children who wish to participate, but children under the age of 11 need to be accompanied by an adult for the duration of their 20 minute slot.
