The Little Bookshop hosts an evening with author Helen Thorn at Seven Arts
Friday 10 April, 7 – 8:30 pm
Tickets: £20 (ticket and book); £7.00 (ticket only)
How do you rebuild your life, when suddenly everything changes? How do you start to make sense of this new world you inhabit, this new path you didn’t know you had to walk. Who are you now? Who do you trust? How do you recover? Will the pain ever go away? These questions form the basis of Helen Thorn’s new book, How to Face Big Change and Come Back Stronger (£18.99).
Comedian, author and award-winning podcaster (Scummy Mummies) Helen faced just that in the wake of divorce and losing her mother. The Little Bookshop welcomes you to join her for an uplifting and inspirational event as she shares the building blocks for recovery to guide you through a challenging new phase of your life.
In this event, Helen and a *special guest* (to be confirmed) will share their moving stories of how they not only survived, but thrived, to discover strength, courage and happiness they didn’t know existed along the way. Their heart-warming, practical wisdom, hard-won advice, and honest and hilarious confessions will leave you feeling inspired and ready to get back up and rebuild your life.
The event will include an audience Q&A section, and a book signing with Helen.
