Please join us for the next open mic poetry evening at our Chapel Allerton bookshop. It’s a chance to appreciate spoken word, share your own creativity in a welcoming space and browse our diverse poetry section. We are always keen to showcase local talent, so poet Joao Coimbra will be headlining, reading selections from his new debut collection, Good & Empty. Joao wowed everyone at our June open mic poetry evening when he shared moving poems about his experience of fatherhood. It’s a pleasure to welcome him back!
