Join Pageturners at The Little Bookshop for Easter reading fun!

Pageturners is a fun, interactive book group for 8-11 year-olds which meets at The Little Bookshop on a monthly basis. 2026 is the National Year of Reading and we welcome new members to join us for book talk and creative fun.
So far this year we’ve created our own maps, enjoyed quiz challenges and have explored historical/adventure and science fiction/fantasy fiction. In April, we’ll be laughing out loud with award-wining children’s author Phil Earle and his latest comic character creation, Finn N.O. Hope, in Finn’s Epic Fails (£7.99).
Anyone who has ever had a disastrous day at school, an embarrassing moment or an argument with a friend will identify with Finn’s dramas and dilemmas. And, for some extra fun, we’ll also have our first Pageturners book group Easter egg hunt!
Ask an adult to book you a place, online or at the bookshop. Tickets are £6 and include refreshments (and a Pageturners discount of 10% on our April book group title).
Adults should be present at the session but are not required to pay for a ticket (max. one adult per child).
