We have a gigantic stack of proof books for you to choose from and enjoy over the holiday season. We can't wait to welcome you back into the shop in January for some rather fancy puddings, fizz, bookish chat and late night (discounted!) bookshopping.

How it works:

Book a ticket here or in store and pop into our Chapel Allerton shop to choose a proof book starter pack. These are pre-publication, unfinished versions of books we receive to read and review ahead the of books being available to buy. We have a HUGE collection of proof books of all genres.

Read your proof book! Fill in the mini review sheet that comes in your proof book starter pack
- Join us in the Chapel Allerton shop on Wednesday, January 14th 7-8.30pm for an exciting evening of (you guessed it) puddings, drinks and bookish proof chat!
