We’ll be deciding on a format and a group name and organising an official logo competition.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt’s also a chance to find out about the new Children’s Laureate, Patrice Lawrence, who will be touring UK schools, libraries and bookshops between 2026 and 2028 in her role to promote the value of books and stories.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOur October read will be Patrice’s YA thriller, Eight Pieces of Silva, which won the Jhalak Prize in 2021. When Becks’ older step-sister Silva disappears while their parents are on honeymoon Becks decides to solve the mystery herself.
