Autumn Crime Evening with Lesley McEvoy at The Little Bookshop
Friday 25 October 2024, 7-8 pm
Join us at The Little Bookshop, Chapel Allerton, for an evening of crime with Yorkshire’s own Lesley McEvoy. Lesley will be talking about her latest crime novel, The Invisible Dead, and sharing some of her extensive experience in behavioural profiling and training.
When people begin to die in the fictional West Yorkshire city of Fordham, the deaths appear to be random accidents. Forensic pathologist Elle Richardson has her doubts, despite the lack of firm evidence. When her friend, and forensic psychologist, Dr. Jo McCready begins to investigate patterns of behaviour in the seemingly un-related deaths, will she uncover something far more sinister? Is a clever serial killer on the loose?
If you love crime fiction (but not the cosy sort!) you’ll enjoy meeting Lesley and finding out more about her writing and inspiration. The event will include audience Q & A and Lesley will also be signing copies of The Invisible Dead (£9.99). And for those brave/adventurous enough to volunteer, Lesley will also demo her behavioural profiling expertise in just 15 seconds.
Booking is essential, online or at the bookshop. Tickets are £6 and include refreshments.
