Pageturners is a fun, interactive book group for 8-11 year-olds which meets at The Little Bookshop on the first Thursday of the month. 2026 is the National Year of Reading, so we’ll be sharing some of our favourite recent reads: junior fiction, poetry, graphic novels and information books. Our special focus for January will be maps and mapping; whether they are real, based on our homes and communities or imaginary, maps add so much to the reading and storytelling experience.
Ask an adult to book you a place, online or at the bookshop. Tickets are £6 and include refreshments (and a Pageturners discount of 15% on book group titles).
Adults should be present at the session but are not required to pay for a ticket (max. one adult per child).
