Pageturners Children’s Book Group loves poetry!

Join us at The Little Bookshop on National Poetry Day 2024 for some rhyming fun

Please note that all children must be accompanied by an adult and the book group is suitable for ages 8-11

Our next meeting is on Thursday 3 October, 4-5 pm at the Chapel Allerton bookshop. We’ll be sharing our favourite poems, and celebrating our favourite poets, on National Poetry Day. This year’s theme is “counting”, so whether you like a funny five-line limerick or a short 17-syllable haiku you might even be inspired to write your own special poem!

We’ll also be choosing a graphic novel to discuss at our November meeting and planning ahead for some festive fun in December

Please ask an adult to book you a place, online or at the bookshop. Tickets are £5 and include refreshments. We hope to see some returning members and perhaps some new faces too!
